The Aeronautical Information Management Service (AIMS) plays a strategic role in ensuring the safety, regularity, and efficiency of air navigation at both national and international levels. Its primary mission is to ensure the continuous, accurate, and timely flow of aeronautical data and information essential for safe aircraft operations and informed decision-making by all aviation stakeholders.
This service is responsible for processing, validating, and disseminating all aeronautical information related to the territory and airspace under the jurisdiction of the Republic of Cabo Verde, in accordance with the standards and recommendations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Key responsibilities include the management and updating of Cabo Verde’s Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP), NOTAMs, aeronautical charts, and other essential information products required for flight planning and safe execution.
AIMS also manages the reception, analysis, and processing of flight plans and associated messages for all aircraft operating to, from, or over national territory, ensuring efficient coordination with air traffic services and other relevant entities.
By ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and  timeliness of aeronautical information, AIMS
contributes decisively to ASA’s operational excellence and to the safe global connectivity ofCabo Verde.
